Our Process
Initial Consultation
Fill out the referral form, sign your agreement, join an assessment interview and share records. We then review your case, speak with you, observe needs, and plan next steps with your team.
Behaviour Plan Development
We assess your needs and goals, develop a Behaviour Support Plan with your input, and submit it to the NDIS Commission if required. We can also support requests for additional NDIS funding.
Plan Implementation & Ongoing Review
We train you, your family and support team, review your plan, and use over 35 NDIS hours to create a full plan with reviews, useful strategies, progress-tracking, and support at each stage.
Results & Recommendation Report
We collect and present evidence of your support needs, goals, and progress in a detailed report to the NDIA, helping you access the right ongoing NDIS support.
How long does it take?
Timeframes depend on needs, information available, behaviour of concern and support team involvement.
Interim or Short BSP
Approximately 20 hours for up to 3 behaviour of concerns, including proactive & reactive stratgies.
What is a Behaviour Support Plan (BSP)?
A Behaviour Support Plan is an essential guide for you and the people around you to understand you better. We work closely with you and the people around you in developing a personalised plan. With proper training and ongoing communication, everyone is equipped to support you in the best way.
Tailored Strategies That Suits You
The goal of Positive Behaviour Support is to enhance your quality of life while reducing challenging behaviours.
Positive Behaviour Support seeks to understand both the history and current reasons behind these actions, helping you learn safer behaviours and support strategies that address the same needs.
Why do you need a BSP?
A Behaviour Support Plan helps you and your team understand what is happening, what you need, and how to respond in a safer, more supportive way.
When emotions, sensory overload, or thoughts feel intense
When it is hard to express your needs
When your environment is not matching your support needs
When certain behaviours may create safety concerns
A BSP gives your team clear strategies to respond early, stay calm, reduce escalation, and support safety.
